The O2 Arena in London hosted the action.

Vainglory's Unified Western Live Championships took place this past weekend in Building Six of London's O2 Arena, seeing some of the top Vainglory teams from Europe and North America face off to settle regional rivalries and find out who's best.

After three days of action the final saw Cloud9 and Gankstars face off head to head, with Cloud0 winning 3-0 to secure the trophy and a spot at the World Championships later this year. G2 Esports will have been gutted not to have made the final, though, being edged out by Gankstars in the semis.

"The finals against Gankstars was intense as we were playing against our former teammates," said Gabe "gabevizzle" Villarin of Cloud9. "We knew there was a good chance we were going to play as a top team and although we struggled at some points during the semifinals against TSM we stayed together to pull out a win during the finals. We're already looking forward to the Summer Championships and competing with everyone again."

Is Vainglory the best it's ever been as an esport right now?
